I asked a lady friend who recently moved to Brazil to join our discussion board, and much to my delight she agreed to!  As an ex-pat formerly living in the US and now calling Brazil home, I thought her input would be invaluable.  When she chooses a name and a gets her password then makes her first post I would like to ask that the board members give her a hearty welcome.  I think we need more lady posters on the board and this lady is indeed a class act.  How about joining me and doing likewise and inviting someone you might think would make some great contributions to the P-L board.

Actually, I may be more qualified to respond on the man aspect on desirability.  I don't pay much attention to the woman here other than fashion sugestions for fitting in..... You may however decide to conduct a scientific study on the matter to form some conclusions for the others!!!!

Much to my disappointment, my friend tried registering at P-L this evening and discovered that you can't register if you have a web based email account like yahoo or hotmail.  Unfortunately, this is the only type of email account she presently has in Brazil.  I understand the purpose behind this after reading the explanation at the registration page, but is there anyway around this?  Seems like we are preventing some good people from joining this board with this policy trying to prevent someone setting up multiple accounts.  Any help or suggestions Patrick other than a free web based email address for new registrants?  Did this policy prevent a recently banned member acquiring two identities?

I can give her a domain based email acount if that will help. If she only uses internet cafes, she could use mail2web to check that acount.
