... in response to What the F....is a "Metrosexual&quo..., posted by HansErich on Jul 31, 2003Its a new term to me and I'm not sure we really want to know. But it seems from below a guy who's masculenity has been reduced through politically/socially correct indoctrination. He may not be gay but he can act alot like he was.Reminds me of a guy I knew who would get cramps every time his wife had a period. He was so docile and had so little energy or passion that he was just about useless. The ultimate picture of a wimp.I can't immagine him being attractive to any woman even if they think they want that kind of a guy. They will campain to turn you into him while secretly disdaining him and having the hots for socialy incorrect bad boys.
Fortunetly latinas don't want this kind of guy. They want to be taken care of and don't think wimps are up to the job.So show your ovesensitive side and they will laugh or run.Sex
roles have not been so hopelessly confused in latinaland.
Just another reason to head south.
As far as gay men,I came to the San Francisco area from Idaho, traditional man county. But I have met alot of gay men, some who seemed effiminate and some not.Every one was a real nice guy.It seems to be an inate thing, something they just are.One son in a family gay, several others strait.I was relieved to find it didn't rub of and was something that a guy did not have to fear turning in to.
But now we have this metrosexual thing, like a effort to reduce a guys masculenity. And just last week,a new "reality " show where there are these guys competing for another guy and the hint that some of them are not gay.Reality shows are pretty sick in general and this one seems to be pushing it to a new level of sickness.
And I must agree with Bush, marriage is between a man and a woman.Just by definition. You can put together other relatinships and even give them some benefits, but marriage they are not.
