Just a response to some recent posts.

I spent 30 days in Bogota and Cartagena, had introductions to 48 women and never came close to thinking that I was being solicited for prostitution, or even asked for an unreasonable amount of money. Several women asked me to take care of taxicab fare for them to go back after we had a date or after a meeting at an agency and I thought that was entirely reasonable and would have done it even if they had not asked. And on the other hand, a couple of women would not pay me pay for their cabs and I would gracefully give in.

With one exception (a 38 year old bodega owner in Cartagena with a terrific figure), no woman I went out with had a bare midriff like the girls that Calipro put up But I wasn't in Cali, the women I went out with were from 33 to 46, almost all were working in professional jobs, everyone had a professional license of some kind or a university degree. Most of the girls that Calipro showed looked like they were between 18 and 22, and personally, I stopped going out with teenagers when I was 20.

But I did look at his pictures. I do think that calipro takes all these pictures to reinforce his own self image, but these girls willingly posed for him. Calipro provides a lot of help and a certain kind of expertise for some guys who decide to go to Cali, he offered to help me, and even though I chose not to go to Cali this time, it was a gesture that I appreciated. He and I are two different hombres from two entirely different backgrounds and we aren't going to agree on much of anything. I made some pointed comments once about his personality on this forum once before, I should have done it off-line with him, and I'm not going to flame him again.

Some guys write long entrys about their trips.  Cali Pro submitted a photo journal.  I think the pictures were great.  I especially liked the scenic city pics:-).  Our taste in women really have nothing to do with what someone else shares.  He is sharing his trip.  To each his own.

So what if I was down there and snapped some pics of CaliPro with the girls? Would he ask me not to post them? If you say no. . . . you are mistaken, as he went to the trouble of disguising HIS identity. Double standards always seem to favor the gringo.

If I decided to post his Pics as part of my Photo Journal, all would be cool right?

Asking permission would be what a gentleman does, but that would interfere with the gawking and bragging.

I do get it.  I was being diplomatic in my response to Calipro's actions.  Posting pictures of women in a personal or intimate environment is not my style, and I have a different standard of conduct then calipro.  But I've also learned that I can't judge another man's morality.  

Judging other men's morality through cyberspace doesn't solve anything or make another man change.  Several quarts of testosterone were spilled on this forum in the last 24 hours and I don't see a need to add to the puddle.

Your point is well taken.  I personally think the forum is much richer for Calipro's contributions than it would be if he didn't post.  He does present a very realistic alternative viewpoint of the Latin dating situation and while I don’t agree with him I do appreciate his contributions.

As what happens frequently here, that topic has gotten blown out of proportion and twisted in every which way except it’s original intent..

Do these agency gals not sign up with an agency to begin with, provide photos for both albums in the agency office and for distribution on the internet?

And now some are concerned about posting subsequent photos of these same gals on the web?  There’s a finite number of agencies in Cali, composed of a finite number of Calenas.  This is by far the biggest forum for guys utilizing the agencies there.  Paths will certainly be crossed.  Some damn good photos of Cali were posted along with some of Cali's native inhabitants.  They’re gone now but with exception of a couple, that’s just what it was.  Now some are upset because they looked and were shocked to see some current or former acquaintances in the photos?

I don’t feel sorry for any of the gals that had no problem participating in some of the racier apartment shots.  Granted a guy would be upset at seeing this, especially if the gal was currently on his radar, but wouldn’t this be outstanding information?  Seems like the messenger here was wrongly blasted, anyone pissed off should be on the horn to the particular Calena in question to inquire WTF she was doing in that photo to begin with!

What’s also interesting is how everyone jumped at the opportunity to view ‘em, nobody was forced to do that either

those pictures, I wasn't impressed. Don't forget that Calipro met some of them at the Mall and not the Agency. I rather see photos of older Ladies..I still don't see what us older Farts see in much younger chicks, what do we have in common??? If a older Guy want a trophy wife, then I understand why he seek those much younger girls.

I'd post pictures of the women I met in Cali and Bogota but my wife made me erase them all.  She's the Zen Master of Jealousy.

You're missing my point, i'm not disagreeing with Calipro's right to put up pictures of the girls that he.  For  me its certainly not jealousy, I haven't been to Cali yet and Calipro and I are interested in much different women, in terms of age, background, education, etc.  

Persaonally, i would not post pictures of women that I met and dated, but that's my own standard of conduct. In some respects I am a cautious man, perhaps a more formal, private "old fashioned" man then some of you.  I'm not implying that my stabdard of conduct is better then then calipro, all I'm saying is that its a different standard of conduct.  

And, if I find a Latina and marry her, I will post the wedding pictures, that's a promise!

If one tells a lady she will be posted on the internet, and she is fine with that, as is the case with the agencies, that is fine. Calipro said if he knew Been There was going to tell the girls, he'd have taken them down. Why? Did he know they would not like the idea?

If he really feels that this is not a big deal, why would he have taken them down if he knew they would find out?

Answer? anyone?

It seems that many here only look at things from the guys side. If posting pics on the net is no big deal. . . .why does he block HIS face out? He obviously wouldn't want people seeing his fave plasted on the net in these photos, but it is ok to do it to the girls?

Do you think that girl new that he would post pics of her in her bra?

It is like flexing beer muscles. It is a bid for attention. Look guys. . . .I date hot chicks in cali! BFD, ANYONE can date hot chicks in Cali, so why is anyone impressed? OK, anyone but HD;-)

Calip Pro said he doesn't post pics of girls he wants to see again. To me that means that he has no repsect for these girls.

I've been to Bogota and Cali and there is a considerable difference in the typical style of dress for women in the two cities.  In Bogota I noticed a lot of dresses with nylons because of the cooler weather.  In Cali it was mostly tight jeans, and bare midriffs.  Low, low-rise jeans are very common, too.  Nothing unusual about the dress of the Calenas in CaliPros photos.  My wife still dresses that way here in Dallas.  She hated that she had to wear a coat last winter.

I hope to go to Cali in the near future. I guess the girls all dress similiar to the bartenders at Coyote Ugly
