K-1 initial responce time

I submitted my K-1 application to the Laguna Niguel CA. Immigration office on July 18, 2003.

How long does it take before they send me a case number? What status can I be able to see as the VISA is being processed?

The Laguna Niguel recieved my request for a K-1 VISA on July 18. I recieved my Notice of Action on July 23. Five days later. They state it usually takes 64-112 days to process this type of case.
