Mike,
Houndog got bounced out of here for being too negative and starting alot of flame wars.Patrick gave him about a 100 feet of slack before he cut him loose.I think Patrick put up with him so long because he did have some things to add between the negative bouts that seemed to come out of nowhere.I think he split with his wife. You would know better than us I would think. He's in Houston.
Hoda,Larry S and Doug Y. Are happily married and don't bother to post, only Hoda sometimes.I miss him but he's got better things to do I guess.Maybe Stivalis  doesn't like him posting,I don't know.My wife doesn't but I do it anyway,I guess I have a need to express. Its been going some different directions lately so you haven't heard a much from me.Made the paper here yesterday trying to set a reporter strait that doesn't know what he is talking about, transporation issues,my old job with the city here for 28 years. Now I sell real estate and waste time on my computer, but its fun.
My wife Rocio is best friends with Dougs wife Nelcy. They talk every day,see each other 2-3 times a week. They live 4 miles from us.She works at Doug's sister boutique 4 blocks from our house here in Willow Glen. They are doing fine,he is very busy with his contracting business and selling  real estate.
Larry  and Ingrid have a son about 2 years old.We tried to hook up with them in Cali in December 2001,the last time I was there.Ingrids brother caused them some problems and they left before we could get together. Her mother was heartbroken, she hadn't seen them in 2 or 3 years. We met her mother and brought back some stuff of theirs.I talked to him maybe a year ago.
So one guy got bounced,3 guys got a life(just joking,I like hanging out with you guys).
And I miss Houndog, especially when it gets boring. Some new guys think they got their tail feathers burned,if Houndog was still around they would know for sure.

Pete

The interesting thing about Houndog was that regardless of his paranoia and idiosincracys He was a real smart guy. The combination made his posts outrageous and funny. JIM C

He was hilarous.Very witty.Patrick bouced him real fast,I'm not sure what he did but I think said something about someone's wife or girlfriend.Whatever it was it was a one stike and your out offence. He kept coming back under other names.

Me too!  You had to admit the guy had talent.  He was very witty and quick.  There was one post that had me in tears.

was his name or I believe it translates as "dark or bad man".  Maybe he wanted to be "mysterious".  Had many a good chuckle at his posts nipping at the heels of ole houndog.  I wish he could find his way back onto the board but I do not think Mr. Patrick would approve.  Too bad we cannot vote for the guys we would like to see un-banned.

No offense to the other guys but Craig is coming up with some good one liners also.

Jim,
Maybe Patrick could put him on probation for awhile to see how he does.Oh,hell that wouldn't be any fun.It wouldn't be  Houndog if he couldn't be himself.I wonder if he follows
the list any more.
Hey,HD,send me a mail.I'm not p!ssed any more if your not.

Saludos Mike - Hope all is well with you in Dallas.  I hear you are concentrating on the domestic girls from reading LWL.  Hope all turns out well.

Any news you can share about houndog??  What happened to his wife??  How did all of this affect his persona??  Is he still ownery?  Maybe you cannot share anything but there were many people who were fans of houndog.  I have nothing against him as I have let bygones be bygones.

Take care Mike..

Hey Edge,
Hope all going well with you also. And you are right, I have been focusing on Dallas girls of late. It's just too easy, there are tons of good looking girls here. And there are alot of latin girls here as well, as you can imagine.
The idea of a long distance relationship with woman from a different culture just isn't quite as appealing to me as it once was. There are plenty of latin girls that live here, thereby taking alot of the "unknowns" out of the equation. But hey, that's just me and where I am in my life right now.

By "unknowns" I refer to adaptation skills, willingness & ability to learn English, work habits, green-card shark potential, and whether or not she will "trade-up" for another gringo upon arrival. That's to name a few.

Actually I have talked with Houndog recently.

After some ups and downs, he & his wife are back together and things seem to be going quite well at the moment. I'll try to see if he will come back here and take a victory lap.

I thought that relationship had crashed and burned.  Well, perserverence can pay off in a marriage so that is good for houndog.
