I climbed the 3 cross mountain in Cali over Easter.

Better be in shape, some parts are almost vertical.
I go to the gym evryday , but this was tough, its cross training is necessary to be REALLY in shape.

You have to go with someone who has done it before.

The Calena I was with, beat me the whole way.

Oh no you did it all wrong.  You are supposed to stop every 200 yards and say "oh wow what a view, I need to take a photo of this".  Don't let her hear your heart beating 300 beats a minute.  :-)  My wife and I do that hike everyday while I am there.  She likes to use a stop watch and beat her best time.  I just want to make it to the top without the appearance of a man who is dying.

There are a couple other good hikes there in Cali.

The terrain, you could easily trip or twist an ankle.
I did not want any medical problems in a foreign country.

A fewe Colombians came back down the mountain at full spped on the steep slope.
Basically they had to instantly decise to plant the foot and where, because once you start vertically down a steep slope you cannot stop.
Colombians have a strange value on their life, each one could have easily been killed.

Same as driving scooters with 3 or 4 people on it at the same time and no helmet.
