OK, It's a joke amigos, no flames necessary, in Mexico it is a little different. The women I have met there don't seem to lie much, but they are carful in only telling you what they want you to know. Not really lying, but not offering the whole story either. I have met a number of other people there that spoke english(at the time unknown to me), but only spoke spanish to me. I had it explained to me later that in Mexico, they would rather see me make an ass of myself speaking spanish, than themselves in speaking english.
Just got back from my 3rd trip to Guadalajara, I know few people here give a cr@p about Mexico. We took a nice trip up into the mountains to Mazamitla to avoid the heat in GDL. Nice pine forests, more like europe than Mexico.
How about some green flags? We borrowed her friends car for a day to visit a small town Tlaquepaque. We got in the car, the radio was broken. I don't know about your colombianas, but my mexicana always has music playing. First stop was a car audio repair place, the guy there stops what he is doing, pull the radio apart, done in 30 minutes, the charge 50 pesos or $5, which she would not let me pay. It made her day alot better, and I am sure her friends too.
The hardest part is always leaving, going back in June.
