Question

How much money should I plan on spending on my weeklong trip to Brazil.  This is for food, movies, cabs buses etc.  Anyone who has ever been to Brazil I would appreciate your input.

Someone asked me how much my recent trip to Salvador cost.  I gave a somewhat detailed list of plane tickets, hotel, meals, ground transportation, etc.  If you look in the recent archives you should find it.

One thing to note. When I went the exchange rate was 1 USD = 3.5 BRL.  It seems the real has increased in value over the last 2 months because last week xe.net gave a rate of 1 USD = 3.1 BRL.  That will change the US dollar cost of your trip.
