Flights cancelled?

Just heard in Cali from my suegra that flights from the US to Colombia have been suspended, true?

Sounds like a hoax

just went to avianca web site and checked flight status. all scheduled US bound flights are hot. Same with AA.

Thanks, probobly not a hoax, more like wild rumor which is standard around here. Thought there might be something to it since her other son-in-law is a baggage handler at the Cali airport.
