Hi All,

First of all, let me agree with what Intrepid said, there are many of us who read and do not post until later.  All of your insights, information and advice are greatly appreciated.  I remember reading the posts about Ruby and her then, now ex, boyfriend Mauricio who manages an agency here in Cali.  I was laughing my butt off because they hit a ton of people doing that gig.  Secondly, allow me to apologize from the outset for my misspellings and grammatical errors, most of what I write is more or less stream of consciousness, please focus on the substance vice the grammar.

Now, with all that said, I’ll push forward.  I spent 7+ months of quality time with my eye-candy, due to her having a tourist visa and flying to see me for months on end.  Believe me, I asked all of the hard questions and then some.  To be fair, there were some serious red flags that popped up, in regards to her sheer laziness and dress/respect issues, and yes to my detriment I ignored them.  Regardless, other core issues we discussed were in line and intact with my beliefs… or so she said… and so I believed.  I’m not blaming her completely, I fully believe in the ”it takes two to tango” mantra, but to say I was completely deceived and lied to is a complete understatement.  I would later come to find that although this gal was a bit older than the normal “sardinas” (26 yo), she was very emotionally immature.  Her m.o. was to agree to whatever I said, elaborate on it, and then do whatever the hell she wanted.  Anyone who has ever owned their own business or managed people can sympathize as to how frustrating this can be, even more so if you genuinely care for the person… I’ll post more in a bit.
