...and in all honesty they both played poorly--maybe Mexico did have possesion longer and more corner shots and on shots at goal but kinda like chess (bear with me). I have been taught in chess a victory where one checkmates the opponent with more of the opponent's pieces on the board is a more intelligently achieved victory. Mexico had more oppurtunities but could not score. First few minutes Colombia looked good but they play with ball too much--kinda like Brazil--the difference is Brazil scores alot more often--and that is what wins games.---Colman

I'm a rarity. I enjoy NFL and soccer. Not every game is exciting, in either sport.
A friend and I went to Foxboro Stadium to see a friendly between Colombia and Northern Ireland a couple weeks before the 94 World Cup here in the US. Man, there was some eye candy in that stadium.
