I wrote my Congressman, and even penned an e-mail to the FBI last
night. It was all unnecessary. The Colombia embassy received from
the FBI my wife's security clearance on Tuesday. They just did not
bother to tell us until I sent them an e-mail last night, which they
responded to this morning. So, instead of flying out today, she will
fly out next Tuesday. This is of course unless the embassy drops the
ball gain.
I wonder how long I would have waited if I had not written them.
Here is their response:
Thank you for sending another email. I just checked the case
and the background check was received on Tuesday, February 18th.
Please let your wife know that she can come back to the Embassy
any day Monday to Thursday at 7:00am.
Can you imagine what a wonderful world it would be if these $#!!
government bureaucracies had COMPETITION!
