Sounds like a lot of hidden cost to me and they sucker someone in so they can get their money....like a money scam. Thats what it sounds like to me. I damn sure wouldnt send money to a woman I never met. Hell no.....ha ha ha...NOT.......and as far as paying for the room in advance....thats shady, besides I would want to see it in person first. Matter fact, I dont think I would pay for jack, untill I went down there to check things out. A lot can be said for seeing a place with your own two eyes. even then I would keep my eyes and ears open. And if an agencey started to charge me other things and didnt tell me up front..and knowing I would need those things later, just so they can jack me around for more money....well I'd be just plain pissed off and might take a trip to Sweden, if it happened to me. (if all this is true in first place) .....I would check out more than one agencey too. I would probably call the agencey first, then I would ask for some gringo refrences, and then I would ask people here. I would have serveral I would check out....I believe in back up plans. .........Well Im married, so I dont have to worry about it.....I would just be careful guys.

The agency (ownerlady in Sweden)wants all the money up front, it is not an agency where you can just show up, everything has to be prepaid.  So if you don't like it , there is really nothing you can do about.

Too late for me I already paid, but susequently found a girl in Bogota, so I am OK.  I never even bother to worry about this, until someone asked me this agency.
Yes, I made a newbie mistake, but other gringos can learn from my mistake.

Only send money down to Roberto AFTER you have been there, NEVER before your visit. (even then be wary)

I could say a lot more, but I want keep every comment as objective as possible.
Yes, I know almost every agency in Colombia, but it is because I find it interesting, each city (and women) are very different.

Bogota Vet this sounds fishy. You have always been an articulate writer on this board. I haven't seen so many capital letters since the Hoda persona posted. Maybe your response was rushed. Any way the issues with this agency certainly call to mind the famous Hal Wenz of Bogota though I don't think he's been heard from in a couple of years. As to sending money to a girl who is being threatened by the paras well they'd only be interested in castigating a young single woman if she was a whore and spreading aids around or selling drugs to children or something along those lines so probobly pesos down the drain. And as to the man named Roberto, the planet-love community stands forwarned!
