Support group for the women in the states

I am bringing my novia here in March from Cali. Is there a support group or does anyone want to start a support group in the Los Angeles area. The women can socialize with other women from their same country if they desire.

Check the website of the nearest consulate office (mine's in Houston, yours is probably Los Angles). On the Houston website, they list "Colombian Support Groups" or something to that effect. There are two such groups in Dallas and three or four in Houston, although none are specificly for women.

The group is Mujeres Hispanas mujereshispanas@yahoogroups.com in the group
we help and support women that move to another country.  Most of the times
women feel lonely and they don't know what to do, and most of us we already
walked that path and we share our experience.

This group is just for women, of all countries, the language is spanish and
portuguese and they are more than welcome to join us.

I know there's either a forum or email list for Latinas, but I don't know the name of it or how to get to it.  You might want to ask someone who's familiar with LWL, I believe some of those guys know of the ladies list.
