That's encouraging to hear Andre along with what DenverMike has told me regarding Chile.  Hopefully, I will be making a trip to Santiago the early part of this year and will give a trip report.  Anyone on the board or lurker list been to Chile?  I would also like to hear more input on this nice LA country.

Nice modern city, stunning women, ski during our summer on a volcano. Long flight, last time leaving Miami at 11 pm and arriving around 6:30 am. Ladies seem to have a standard uniform of boots, great jeans, shirt and casual jacket. Great view of the city from, I think the name is, San Cristobol. Didn't have enough time to circulate much. No info on agencies. You really need more than a few days for this country-I hear the south is much like the Alps.

Thanks Anzo and Beetledog for the feedback.

That is what I have been hearing also about the women, the economy being good, relatively safe, and very beautiful country especially in the southern Lake District.  I have not heard of any agencies.

So on the pro side there are:

stunning women,
gringo friendly,
beautiful country,
safe,
few gringos,
relatively cheap,
great wine,
great food especially seafood,
stunning women,
warm weather when cold in US,
lots to do,
and did I mention, stunning women.

On the con side:

long flight,
no agencies (- or +?)

Hmmmm.

Can't wait to go.

I don't know anything about this guy except that he is listed in the on line yellow pages of Chile under the heading "Marriage Consultants" and that he is the ONLY listing that I could find under this or similar categories. Maybe he runs an agency, but more likely he coordinates the carterer, photographer and singer etc.  What the heck, what can it hurt to give him a phone call?
