I'm taking a business trip to San Diego and extending it into a fun filled vacation.
Stopping in Tijuana for a couple days and flying out of TJ to Guadalajara for one week with a friend.
I have been in Contact with Terry from Mexicanmatchmakers and it seems as if the town is giving him lots of grief. He will be shutting down and relocating to another part of Guadalajara. I'm hoping he's up and running before i go in Mid June.
Any advice on what area of Guadalajara etc... to stay in on my visit?
I'm 32 going with a 30 German friend and we are both looking for mexican beauties btwen 18-28...
Any conveniently located hotel advice would be appreciated as well.(No car)
I found this hotel called: Fiesta Inn, Located in the Perla Tapatia business area, convenient to the capital of Jalisco. Is anyone familiar with this area?
I have contacted Randy and am awaiting a reply.
Jeff S. has informed me about TJ (thanks Jeff) Hope i can also make it down in time to see you there in Feb!

deatchef,
I was at Mexican Matchmakers a few weeks ago.  It is in the southwest part of GDL.  I know a little about Terrys problems, I hope he reopens soon.  He has plenty of really good looking women in the books in the age range you are looking.  Fiesta Inn Guadalajara is on Av Mariano Otero not far from where Terry is.  A 3-4 dollar cab ride to districo historico daytime.  Same for most restaurants, but a few more bucks at night.  There is a hotel at the Plaza del Sol
mall a few blocks from there in the $80 range, I saw it on the web, don't know what Fiesta Inn cost.  Terry was a good deal for $55.  There are cheaper hotels in downtown but I didn't check them out when I was there.  I'm going back for Valentines day, and since Terry closed, my novia invited me to stay with her family, which I will do.  Good luck.

Thanks A1A,
I think Fiesta hotel is around 75/night. Terry's would have been nice at 55; hopefully he will have a nuevo place by the time i go.
Have a nice time in Feb!
PS. If your novia or you know of any girls that would like to meet 2 nice guys in there 30's (one from Germany, and one from Jersey {me}, I wouldn't be pissed Smiley

I live in McAllen, TExas which is 8 miles from Reynosa & about 50-60 from Matamoros. If your ever in the area I can translate for free & we can have a couple of brews. I'm 34 by the way so I'm around your age. Good luck! Please post about your trip over there.
