Traveling to Barranquilla in June?

Anybody here going to Barranquilla in June '03?  I'm heading down for a week or two with Latindreamtours or I Love Latins/Barranquilla Beauties, and would like to connect with some other guys doing the same before the trip.  I'm in Northern California, probably flying out of San Francisco to Miami and then to BAQ.  

If anybody has tips on which agency or service might be better, I'd appreciate receiving them.  I've read all the posts in the archives, reviewed the respective websites, done other online research and am edging toward Latindreamtours at the moment.  I'm a life member of Mexican Matchmakers but am real underimpressed with the caliber of women they show on their website, so BAQ is where I'm headed.

I went down to Barranquilla in June of 2002 with the I Love Latins agency.  I was very pleased with the tour.  There were about 800 ladies at the event, and very beautiful.  They do a great job of screening the ladies before the event and the owners (Sam and Sandra Smith) are great people....they are very friendly, they were always around to help the guys, and they still want to keep in touch with their clients after the event.  I will be going back on February 13th for the I Love Latins event and staying for a few weeks.  I would advise anyone going down to stay for a couple of weeks because it gives you a chance to get to know the ladies better since there are so many of them to speak to. There are plenty of translators on hand, about 1 translator to every guy and they have a great pool party at the hotel Puerta del Sol as well.

Even if you don't find an amigo to travel to BAQ with you, you will have no problem finding friendly gringos once there... It's always nice to get feedback from someone else or to double-date with you and the ladies...

Never been to BAQ so can't help you there... The latindreamtours website is pretty hot though...

TLC is having a Barranquilla tour in June also, call TLC or email for the lastest info.

It looks like TLC has a tour to Cali starting June 26th, but nothing listed for BAQ.  The only trips I see so far are with Latindreamtours and Sam Smith.  

I'm looking more for guys to connect with before the trip, buddy up with, talk about our expectations, and hook up in BAQ on the tour.  Last year I was talking to guy from Southern California and he ended up going to BAQ once or twice this year, finally met up with a woman and got engaged.  It was interesting to get his perspective on the search and to compare notes.  Would have been great to fly down together and pal around while we checked out the sights and the beauties on hand.

The TLC guys told they are having tour to BQ in June to go against Sam Smiths tour.  Call the telephone #of TLC or email them, they just told ne they are having the tour to BQ in June.
