well folks here we go again, 20 hostages taken from dos palmas resort at honda bay palawan at about 6:15 am sunday, yea news is not quite up to us standards, kinda slow reporting.
3 americans suppose to be taken, the group is suppose to be abu sayyaf people.

The best way to avoid these kidnappers is to stay out of those five star resorts. They will never bother me at my p300 a night nipa hut at the Koo Koo's Nest south of Dumaguete City. I love to watch the Geckos crawl around catching manits!  Bumabdos

Hi Bumabdos,

LOL I think you found the best way to avoid the kidnappers. They might have pity for you and share some of their loot. ;o) The next time I am staying in a nipa hut. The only thing I am a little leary of, is waking up at night and seeing a snake in the middle of the room. My fiancee says not to worry, there are no more cobras in the area. 8o(

Hi Hum,

Her cousins have warned her that the dreaded one-eyed spitting cobras are bigger in America. he he he I don't worry about those things. After you deliver a baby the first time, you realize anything is possible and start to feel a bit inadequate. ;o))

I hope your brother can keep that fire and smoke up north. I'm retired and am just going to sit on the porch and watch stuff burn if it gets to my neighborhood. ;o)

Yeah. I read about it yesterday morning.  3 American hostages taken.  2 Were missionaries (man and wife) taking a day off.
