She could be telling the truth, but then again maybe not.  It appears you would be taking a risk and always wondering what ALL her duties as an entertainer were.  It's a BIG red flag that I would not approach unless I was intimately familiar with her work ethics.  That would be almost impossible to ascertain w/o knowing her in Japan.
