Here we go again with more ‘MOB’ nonsense-speak.

“The Filipino wife end up being a domestic helper to her husband and his family or in worst situations, abroad“
What the hell does that mean? Were ALL Filipinas who married foreigners victims of trafficking?

“Records of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), Ramos said, show more than four million reported cases of illegal recruitment and human trafficking nationwide as of 2004”
What? Four million? Horse crap! Where do these idiots get these numbers anyway? Is she still talking about foreign brides or WTF?

“She said of the more than four million reported cases, only ten percent or 4,000 complaints were filed…”
Let’s see…10% of 4,000,000 = 400,000, NOT 4,000 you bozo! Shouldn’t that be more like 0.1% ? And just what did they complain about?

According to CFO’s published statistics, the TOTAL number of ALL female emigrants from the Philippines, from 1981-2003 since they started keeping these records, was only about 742 thousand. How the hell did she come up with 4 million “victims” out of that? I think she obviously made this stuff up to serve her own “agenda”.

That’s just what the CFO needs. A counselor who hates foreign marriages, and can’t even do simple math. Wonderful!

This is a perfect example of why all this talk about “human trafficking” is mostly just a bunch of feminist bull-shit.

Dumagueteños advised against intermarriage
By Victor L. Camion

THE Commission on Filipino Overseas (CFO) warned Dumagueteños against illegal recruitment, human trafficking, and documentation fraud on migration and intermarriage.

Janet Ramos, CFO counselor and orientation officer, issued the warning in a pres briefing Thursday at the office of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) in Dumaguete City.

Ramos said CFO has documented cases of fraud involving Filipino women who wanted to marry foreigners.

She said the cases mostly involved mail order brides, a marriage arranged by brokers for Filipino women and foreigners.

"The Filipino wife end up being a domestic helper to her husband and his family or in worst situations, abroad," Ramos said.

She also warned against direct hiring, escort services, blind ads, visa assistance or immigration consultancy scheme, among others.

Records of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), Ramos said, show more than four million reported cases of illegal recruitment and human trafficking nationwide as of 2004.

She said of the more than four million reported cases, only ten percent or 4,000 complaints were filed before the office of the Presidential Anti-illegal Recruitment Task Force (PARTF).

The majority 90 percent was not interested to file charges against their alleged offenders, Ramos said.

She said CFO has strengthened its education and information campaigns on various issues on migration, intermarriage and existing government policies and programs against illegal recruitment, documentation fraud, and human trafficking.

... in response to "Human Trafficking" Nonsense A..., posted by Ray on Aug 27, 2005

Ray,

It is amazing at the lengths these Feminazies will go through to adavance their feminist agenda.  These women are so angry,  bitter and downright militant at times.

I remember back in the 1980's the liberals and their willing accomplices in the media, were going around reporting that there were over 3 million homeless people in this country.  When they acutualy did a true count of the homeless it was considerably less.  Most of the homeless were alcoholics, drug addicts and mentally ill.  Quite frankly alot of them liked being homeless because they didn't have any responsiblity.  They just went about their day doing whatever they wanted too.

The liberals and the media hated my hero Ronald Reagan so much that they would lie about anything to hurt his Presidency.  The same thing they do now with President Bush.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much Keith. All the lies by the political activists are just a sign of desperation on their part because they can’t win where it counts, at the ballot box. The hard-core leftists are really getting desperate and think anyone who voted for Bush is an ignorant idiot. Of course we know better…LOL!

The Minute Men volunteers were running a border watch program here in San Diego recently and you should have seen the tactics the leftists were using to counter them. They were so frustrated because the Minute Men weren’t shooting illegal families sneaking across the border. They tried so hard to incite an incident that they could use for propaganda purposes. Typical communist tactics. I noticed in most all of the news coverage of the counter demonstrations, there was this one particularly shrill and particularly ugly young Chicana female who would always be there on the front lines shouting “RACISTS!” at the Minute Men, while spitting in their faces and kicking at them, trying as hard as she could to provoke an incident. Her blood pressure must have been around 300/150 and the veins were popping out of her face and forehead.

Unfortunately for them, I think this is the new face of the opposition party’s leadership. But fortunately for the rest of us, the majority of voters just don’t buy their bull shit :-)

Do you know what the racial "make-up" of the Minute Man volunteers was?  I wouldn't be surprised if many of them were Hispanic/Latino.  Even the Chief of the Border Patrol is Mexican American.

Yes, of course some of the Minute Men are Hispanic, but that doesn’t make any difference. If you are against illegal immigration, then you’re a racist by default, according to the wacky commie leftists :-)
