Can anyone here tell me how the following translate into tagalog?
I don't have a good dictionary and the on-line services leave a bit to be desired.

sexy little girl  -  Huh maliit pinay ?

half pint (as in describing someones size) - kalahati pint ng pinay ?

pretty little girl  -  marikit maliit pinay ?

beautiful little girl  -  maganda maliit pinay ?

big hearted girl  -  malaki puso pinay ?

Girl is babae not pinay.  Pinay means female Filipino.

There is no tagalog term for "sexy" so you would say "sexy".

There is no term for "pint" so you are correct in your use but it would be unusual to hear someone in the Philippines say it or know what you meant by it.  It would probably be acknowledged as if they did understand it so they would not appear stupid.

Marikit is very rarely used, most prefer maganda.

You might not know this but "Ganda mo" means "You are so pretty, "Ganda ganda mo" means "You are very, very pretty" etc. etc.  BTW, that is pronounced "ganda mall".

"Little girl" is "Maliit na batang babae" but it literally means small girl, nothing affectionate.

"Babaeng may malaking puso" is the proper grammar for "big hearted girl"

Thanks Bear.  I suspected a couple of the words had no translation, very common around the world, the English word is adapted.  I need to work on the basic grammar.
