Gerlie arrived right on time--first time EVER Tongue hahahahahaa--at 12:30pm on Thursday afternoon.  We have been having a blast ever since!!!

I have been having her meet people in small doses since Thursday evening and she has been doing just fine.  She has not shed a tear since she got here and been very upbeat and fiesty.  We are getting to spend good amounts of time alone and having the most wonderful conversations!!!

I have been showing her around town a little as we are going various places.  She seems to really enjoy seeing the places that I grew up and where I work.  She has already just about taken over the household, but is a little apprehensive about rearranging the cupboards Tongue  I think it's because she is focusing on the closet in the bedroom and the drawers for our clothing and stuff Tongue

We went shopping yesterday with my Cousin Brittany and bought some cute outfits for some of the more formal stuff that we have planned in the next few weeks.  She and Brit had SO much fun trying on EVERY outfit in the store oiiiiiiiiii... I was bored to DEATH!!!  HAhahahahahahahaa  But, it's so good to see her and Brittany get along so well!  Brittany was beside herself with joy when Gerlie asked her to be her maid of honor!  Gerlie made that decision herself, which makes it even more special Smiley

Today we are having a bar-b-que to meet some more of my friends and people from work.  We're getting ready to go to Sam's Club to get some party food and favors.

I can't tell you guys--because most of you already know Tongue--how good a feeling it is to finally have my pal here with me!  So far, it's everything I had hoped for and MORE!!!  We get along in a very natural way and she is just a pleasure to be around Smiley

I will keep posting as things progress Smiley  Thanks to all my friends here for all the support and advice.  You guys truly are pals too ;P

Be nice to my newest Uncle!  I told him everyone here can behave except Hamilton Tongue  HAHahahhahahahahahahaahaa

PS:  I also know that Alma is here safely as well.  She contacted Gerlie yesterday to say that her and Nox got home safely Smiley  I sure hope they are having as much fun as we are!! Hahahahahah

Awesome!!!

I fellas but I can't help but to "pat my back" a little.  It just seems that life keeps getting better and better and I know its because this time I started with the right woman.  The days of my living the definition of "Murphy's law" are gone.

Howard I just can't tell you how awed I am that its working out for you as well.

Welcome to Michigan Gerlie

I hope you and Howard will have a great life together.  He is a good  Guy  - we all  love him  here  and he will watch out  for you.  Michigan  is a nice  state to  live in and  Detroit has  a  lot  of  intersting thinngs to do.  We  all  hope  you  will contiiinue to  feel  comforable  there  and  settle  in soon.
