...or buy land near the "William Huang Family"!!! Something I don't think anyone has ever mentioned when buying land or a house in the Philippines or Asia. LOL

"It's A Beautiful Life...Oh...Oh..Oh...Ohhh..."

In the key of...whatever???

That seems to have been the theme song at "Monday Nights Karaoke Party" at my eastern neighbor's  house. They are "all night, drunken, loud, tone deaf singers." The entire family to the north of us are "all day, totally tone deaf karaoke singers!  LOL At least we have two free sides. Shocked) Filipinos love to sing and almost all think they are gifted singers...especially when drunk! No doubt, Filipinos (some) are among the most talented entertainers on the planet. I'm no Simon Cowell, however...some days and nights I pray for brown outs! LOL  The cost of a large CD collection, a good stereo system, cement block house and aircons...PRICELESS!!! My mission for today...to go buy a new microphone for our Karaoke machine and a case of San Miguel. ROFLMMFAO and loving every minute of it!!!

Hey Dave! If you find yourself anywhere near Dumaguete, look us up. We make pepper sauce that makes tabasco seem like cream cheese.

Our karaoke singers are worse than your karaoke singers!!!  LOL.

Hi Larry,

I was having some problems posting so wasn't able to respond earlier. I just got back to the US. I was stuck eating Greenwich tacos and burritos. LOL I wish that I had been able to stop by for a visit and to eat the good stuff! I was only in the Philippines for 3 weeks. We celebrated the baby's baptism, first birthday and several birthdays of family members, so we didn't have much time to travel. Next year I will spend more time in the Philippines. I did get the new mic and had one hell of a karaoke party at the Hamilton house! LOL

P.S. Met a San Miguel exec on the plane back. He is going to give me a guided sampling tour next year. :oD

... karaoke is a Japanese word, and karaoke was invented in Japan, so Japanese have more years of practice than anywhere else. In few places in the modern world will you see more drunken butchery of American popular songs than in Japan on a Saturday night, "Deez ritter town brues...."

Lock and loll!

Hi Jeff,

ROFLMAO! In all fairness, there are some very good singers in the barangay...unfortunately, they don't seem to get the microphone enough. LOL
