I got my greencard today

I just want to share the happy news that I just receive my Permanent Residence card today.
Timeline:
arrived in U.S: July 13,2001
adjustment of status interview:November 12,2003
Greencard arrived:June 21,2004

The best news is were having a baby girl this october 22,2004.Raquel

    Hey Raquel I always want to talked to you’ cause I really enjoyed  the time talking to you on the phone.  I heard about the coming baby you must be so lucky to have theme and your husband too.  He must be so nice and I know he’s a responsible guy right he he he he also I read that you already get your green card that’s great and congratulation .  say hi to your husband and to your baby ha ha ha ha .
      Again  thanks for the calls when I was in manila for my St. Luke’s clinic for all the tips you had given me I really appreciate it and it really helps’ so I hope one day you could come and visit us and have your kids see Disney land when they are old enough.  Raquel I consider you as one of my true friends.

Can you tell me about the process of applying and receiving your Green Card?  Interviews, requirements, etc.
