Help with OF 167K

Hello All,
  My Fiance is doing the forms for here package 3 and says I need to send her a form OF 167K but I can't find anything about this form. Dose any one know what it is and why I need one? Thank you for any help.

Greg,

There is a DOS Form OF-167 which is essentially just an information sheet that lists types of evidence which can be used to submit with the I-134 Affidavit of Support when applying for a visa. It is not a form that needs to be filled out and submitted. I think a few embassies still use it. It’s usually of more interest to the petitioner for completing the I-134.

My guess is that the OF-167K is probably a local version used in Vietnam for K-visa information packets. Maybe she received the Form OF-167K with her visa packet?

Hi Guys,
 Thank You for the information, I will let my Fiance know. She is very nervious about this process because a friend of here had to go back 3 times with more information befor she got her visa. We both miss eachother very much and want this process to be over quickly so we can be togther.

my list here says Optional form 167, -- evidence which may be presented to meet the public charge provision of the law.

my fiance is mailing me my copy of what she filled out.  I am guessing that it is a form that enables the fiance overseas to prove that she is financially solvent with assets overseas  so that  she will not need the affidavit of support I 134.  for example  her parents own factories  and are rich  so she has assets to fall back on  and ther is a financial stake / assets  over seas  that belong to her.

Ray is the man to  ask for sure  but this is my take on this.
