I think most of the regulars on this board recognize the prevalence of dishonesty and fraud in foreign marriage agencies. I get to see this theft from two perspectives. One from customers who relay their experiences to me with other agencies and two from the outright theft of my photos and copy from my website. To date all these borrowings have come from other Latin agencies, some on a very small scale and others on a grand scale. I am in the process of expanding my website and I will document such theft in my own unique way. However, this brings up the question if an agency is going to steal from another agency or use deceptive means of doing business in order to sell or attract customers would they not be prone to steal from you?  Would anyone think not?
Take a look at this site http://www.filipinalady.com/
They stole most of my website, but it is almost comical the way it turned out.  Anyway, if I can still be amused by someone stealing from me I would think others might also find the comparison of my site (International-Introductions.com) to this Philippine version laughable.
Fortunately, it is very easy to go after thieves like this. When he reinvents himself my stealing from someone else. I’ll leave it up to you guys to warn potential victims.

You could at least make trouble for them with their ISP by claiming copyright infringment. Part of the DMCA, which applies to more than MP3 songs.

I have talked to several people about this before and there aren't but a handful of those sites you can even halfway trust. Also, you can write in your HTML a blocker that prevents people from right-clicking and stealing your photos, and maybe even your HTML as well. My eyes aren't what they used to be, and on some sites with small graphics & pics I have to right-click them and save them to enlarge in My Pictures before I can make them out. On some sites I cannot, I get a pop-up window telling me I can't because the things are copyrighted. Maybe you could do that if you know someone with the right codes.

Unscrupulous dirtbags setting up their own little web site with cut-and-paste stolen photos attached to fake names happens all the time and is a hazard to newbies in this prusuit.  If some guy is so hot and horny for some young flesh that he doesn't bother to take the time to research the various agencies and solicit boards for former customer opinions, well, a fool and his money yadda yadda yadda.

... in response to Theft not uncommon, posted by Bob S on Apr 23, 2004

Hi Bob,

I took a look at both sites, and this isn't just cutting and pasting photos. This guy apparently cut and pasted the whole damn Web site, then changed the photos and a few words around and inserted Filipina girls in place of the Latinas. He copied text word-for-word and then inserted the word Philippines or Filipina in the place of Colombia or Latina, etc.

I got a kick out of this one:

Original Latin site: “There is a reason why Colombia has the lowest divorce rate in the world; their world is centered on the family.”

Copied Phils site: “There is a reason why the Philippines has zero divorce; their world is centered on the family.”

Actually, divorce is illegal in the Philippines, unless you are Muslim. How’s that for blatant plagiarism and outright lies? The dumb-ass even copied the copyright statement and changed “United States” to “Canada”. What a dork… ROFL!
