I never asked, but when we were first corresponding, my wife mentioned that she was 5'0". I have been married for over 4 years now and I have never measured her to see if her numbers were accurate. Frankly, I just don't care.

Why, does it really matter to you? :-)

Could this be grounds for an annulment?

If not grounds for annulment, definitely grounds for divorce: Irreconcilable 5-inch difference :-)

Some of those may decide if they say they are 4'10" men will not come and see them. Would she have made your "A" list if she had put in her correct height in her bio, or would you have skipped right over her? And some of it may be the agencies themselves, trying to sell more addresses.

On the other hand, less sinister, I still screw up changing metric to standard measurements. I don't see why Filipinas should have any less trouble.

Most measurements here are in standard US units, not metric. Some things are refered to in metric, but most are refered to in inches and feet.

Metric weight is used much more common than pounds, though.

Still, most filipinas will say they are taller than they are. Unsure what the numbers are of those that know they are not that tall as opposed to those that actually are telling a 'tall tale'.
