Did you actually time those cards Hum, to see if they really gave you the minutes they advertised? I think most cards are WAY off from what they say you get.

If they are really charging rates that low, then they will probably go bankrupt in a month or so. I've seen it before.

We've been using them for several months now. I'm not sure about the exact time but there's no connection charges. She gets disconnected a lot but she is calling to a somewhat remote area of Mindanao.
The Box we sent via Forex arrived last week intact and unopened we sent it on Nov 15th. $90. 2'x 2'

Hum,

Next time try timing one of those $5 cards and see how many actual minutes you get before it runs out. I timed some of those that announce at the beginning of the call that you have 47 minutes (to a cell) on a $5 card and I only got 23 minutes each time.

If they are going to open your Balikbayan box to steal stuff, they will usually carefully cut the bottom open and then tape it back up. I always glue the bottom flaps shut and enclose an itemized inventory list so they can check it at the other end. So far no problems with LBC. I haven't heard any horror stories about Forex yet either. But didn't Forex used to make sheepskin condoms? :-)
