That is the best advise yet, I'll print this out and go over it when I go to Ozamis and Kapatagan in Feb.  thanks.
I really like the escape trick it sounds like a good option when done right.  Sounds like you have had a bit of experience maybe work related.

I left mine in the hotels safe.worked out good.Then only took money when I needed it.If I had known my atm card would work I would have taken less cash.There werequite a few banks in olongapo I could use mine.Credit cards I kept in my wallet same with carry cash.

Leaving at your girls house poses problems if some comes up missing by accident i.e. falling behind a piece of furniture,or misplaced while cleaning the house,that is best avoided.What would you think if that happened and you could not find the missing money.

Have fun on your trip.
