before you take Matthew to RP, be sure that he get a full checkup, all his vaccines. Make sure that his Dr know of your plans to take him to the Philippines. As for myself, I wouldn't risk taking a child to RP at such a young age, that was one reason why his mother sent Gregory to America.

Hi Feb,

Peaches got it right.

There is no gevernment requirement for vaccinations to travel to the Phils. Just make sure his normal vacciantion schedule is up-to-date. Bringing a copy of his vaccination record could help in an emergency.

Don't forget mosquito repellent for the little guy!

but I believe whatever vaccination he is scheduled then that's what
he gets. Every vaccination has to go w/ the age of the baby.  It is
very important that the baby is at the right age before giving certain
vaccination. Don't you have a record to when and what would be
the next?  Matt is about 6 mos old now right? So he had 2 or 3 vac
at 6mos old then  next would be 9 mos. Just bring his health record
if you'll visit Phil. coz we never know. Vaccinations need to be at
the exact age of the baby.

...ask the doctor about the BCG (TB) vaccine which is not normally given in the United States.
