Hey Airwolf, why the hell would anyone want to fly upside-down? Did you moon the moon? I'm glad that you weren't shot down by the Homeland Security folks :-)

Hi Ray,

LMAO! I was just speaking to Dave on the phone today about that. I don't mean "inverted" as in upside down. I meant inverted in a dive. Nose down. Sorry folks if came out wrong. It's part of "Recovery from unusual attitudes". Part of the training.

Upside down is Aerobatics. Not my kind of thing......yet. :-))))

Hi Airwolf,

It looks like you did it! Fantastic! Was that you I saw flying by upside down? Thanks for missing my house! Did your instructor have to change his diaper after you landed? ROFLMAO!

Thanks Dave :-),

That 20 year old has more stones than I ever did. His mom was a flight attendant and he's been flying since age 11 in S. Florida.
It was my diaper almost needed changing. ;-?

Jay

PS- Best part of the flight was doing three landings at Ft. Lauderdale Intl. A first for me. Even got caught in wake turbulance of a 717 that we were following on final. Not too bad, though. REAL busy airport, but I handeled ATC well. Somehow I knew wtf they were all talking about. Plus my southern drawl helps to fit in. LOL!  Three controllers all talking to 20+ aircraft at once. Very scary, yet demanding. Quite a challenge.

Three landings, that's great.  I was worried because I know that some of those Florida flight schools don't put a lot of emphasis on landings or takeoffs.  Some people are only in it for straight and level flight.  Hopefully your school doesn't have a sign that says "Learn to Fly Here" LOL!

Keep it up my man!

Hi Stephen,

Thanks!:o)))

Here is one I just wrote about Howard and Gerlie. Kind of quick...it almost rhymes...the original song didn't however. Shocked)

Based on "Louie Louie" by the Kingsman
"Gerlie Gerlie"

Oh, Gerlie Gerlie, oh no
I miss you so
Oh, Gerlie Gerlie, oh baby
I miss you so

My fine Filipina a-waiting for me
She's my girl across the sea
I can’t wait to be with you alone
Come to the Mitten and call it home

Each night at ten we chat again
Hey you girl, you’re my best friend
I dream at night about being there
Runnin’ my fingers through your lovely hair

Okay, let's give'um the Visa right now!

She's got a love I can’t live without
The way we feel I have no doubt
I'll take her in my arms once again
I'll tell her I'll never ever leave again

Get that Visa out of there!
