When i am in the phils with my gf, i never go to bars and she seems astonished and eternally grateful that im not one of the bad ones. However i dont put ALL the filipina women all on a pedestal , i know there are good and bad just like in any country but i firmly beleive if i find a good filipina she will be a wonderful lifetime mate for me, I still have not made the final decision on my gf as to whether i want to pursue a future with her but after 3 months this year together in the phls i feel im getting to know her a lot better.
It seems to me that you are right, too many guys go to the phils for the wrong reason, but I disagree that 3/4 of the men are there on sex tours or exploitation hunts. If you hang out in the bar district, maybe, But i Know many filipina friends of my gf who have foreign bfs who come over to see them 3 or 4 times in the last year and they spend the whole trip with them, not barhopping,
I Also find that pinays in the usa are very judgemental of filipinas, such as my gf, who are spending time with a bf from the USA, To them,
you are either engaged, or the girl is a prostitute, no in between. How
the heck am i going to get engaged in 2wks, would a pinay do that with a filipino guy, heck no. But with an american or canadian etc, they expect that the guy is either engaged to a girl, or hes not serious, hes a barhopping playboy. How about dating, getting to know each other, ever hear of that?
I just think the guys who barhop for bargirls get all the negative press, and the guys who go over there to marry, thats not interesting, its boring news, so it gets much less press, than the guys who are EXPLOITING OUR WOMEN.
