Everthing went well on our trip to Rome. This is both our first trip to Europe. Swiss Air is very good, they kept on serving us with drinks, wine, chocolates and the stewards were very accomodating (we are not seated on the business/first class) It's a 10 hr flight from Los Angeles to Zurich and 1 hr & 10 min. from Zurich to Rome.
Never in my life I ever thought that I will travel to Rome. What a very interesting place. I really enjoyed seeing their small cars and all the mopeds on the streets. The food was great. Our hotel was located just across from Vatican City. We went to the Vatican Museum and to the Sistine Chapel. Words can't express what we saw.
The only thing not good on our trip was the exchange rate of the dollar, it dropped against the Euro. So I wasn't able to do much shopping. And also it was very cold. It rained 2 days but it didn't stop us from having a good time. We took video and lots of pictures.
It wasn't an extremely expensive trip and we plan on going back.
