A pair of americans have purchased two internet cafes in MM. They have hired girls (mostly bargirls) to work these computers. The plan is for the girls to make contact with american men via introduction sites, chat rooms, etc for the purpose of extracting money.
The girls are instructed to do whatever it takes to extract money, including but not limited to meeting in person, becoming 'engaged', etc. They are supplied with computers complete with web cams, and are given a commission on the money they recieve for the company.
Currently this is being done only in Manila, however these persons are currently looking to buy an internet cafe in cebu. I doubt they will have a problem finding one.
