Calling To Cell phone in the phils
the Card has

NO CONNECTION FEE
ONE MINUTE BILLING AS FAR AS IT STATES ON THE WEBSITE
THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR CELL PHONE MINUTES
AND YOU CAN DIAL A 1-800 NUMBER FOR ACCESS, NO LOCAL ACCESS NUMBER REQUIRED
Many guys including me live in a state or city with no local access number for cheaper rates.

The Rate for the card is
95 MINUTES FOR 10 BUCKS
----------------------------------------------------
If you can Beat that i will be shocked.

Lucky Sea is 16c per minute to the phils CELL
however you get a much better rate, close to 11 cents if you use a local access number , ive heard
-------------------------------------------

this WORLD CARD calculates to

10.5cents per minute TO CELL IN PHILS using the 1-800
-------------------------------------------

Its a good card to use as an alternative to Lucky Sea
I will give it a try to see what the dependability is, and let you all know

Just bought the card and they called back to get info from me and give me my pin#. She said this was the only time they would do it, from now on i get my pin# as soon as i order via e-mail.

I called Rosie in Manila, and she is doing great. I got 3hours and 10 minutes for $20 dollars!! That is a great rate. The other card i was using only gave me 130 miutes for $20 bucks.

Thanks a lot for providing info on this card. The quality was good. Thanks again.

                     Best Regards

Is there any other fees?
A. When using a toll free number from a pay phone a $0.65 per call surcharge will apply. Application of surcharges and fees may have an effect of reducing total minutes on card. Maintenance fees may apply. Semi monthly maintenance fees of $0.59 will be assessed after the first call. Calls placed to mobile telephones may be billed at a higher rate, 3 minute rounding. This card has no cash value and is non-refundable. Prices and fees are subject to change without notice.

This is from world card Outwest don't forget to read the fine print! ;-) Hum PS I get 87mins for 10$ on luckseas with the 1-800 number.

Looks like lucky Sea rounds at 2 minutes, still better than
3 minutes like the one i found, Wish i could find a one minute rounding company,

Unless you watch your time, lucky sea will bill you for an extra minute on each call, and the other one i found, world card will bill you for an extra 2 minutes,

Lol any way to make a buck

Thanks Hum but that one is 18c per minute to call a cell?

What good is one minute rounding when they charge almost double for the rate

Ill stick with the ones who are near 11c and 2 minute rounding, its a better deal, dont you think.

Yikes 3 minute rounding thanks Hum, for pointing that out
So Nice of them not to prominently display it on the website, all the other sites i looked at , made it much more clear.

Whenever i see lucky sea i have a terrible time even finding wherre to buy it but i have never seen 87 mins
to a cell Whats the rounding on that one.

With Lucky Sea, we get 90 minutes to a cell and 120 minutes to a land line if we use the local access number instead of the 800 number. Also, we buy the $10 cards for $9 at the local Filipino bakery.

At $10 for 90 minutes, that's about 11 cents/minute to a cell phone. I can buy other cards here in my area that will beat that, but Lucky Sea has had the best connections and the least problems overall.

Try looking around in your area for a card that gives you a bonus for using a local access number.

... in response to Local Access Cards, posted by Ray on Nov 13, 2002

Hi Ray
if i was in california i could get local access
new mexico has no local access from any cards not enough people here, to make it worth their while, east coast california, even phoenix, unless ur in a metro area with about 1 million you can forget local access.
