For those of you like me who have a gf or penpal in the phils
you know its expensive to call so we are left with email and
occasional calls but if we dont watch our time on the phone we end up with several hundred dollar phone bills per month.
If your novia or gf, or fiancee has a cell phone you can do this.
Now my gf and i use chikka all the time

You download the program to your computer, install it, you invite her to be a chikka member by entering her cell number and inviting.
She can text you from her cell phone to your computer for 2.5 pesos.
Not bad considering if she texts the normal way to the usa it is usualy 15p or 20p per message.
You can send text message to her from your computer to her cell phone for free.
You are allowed 30 free messages per day to her.
However i tell my gf not to text me back too often, since even at p2.5 per message it adds up quickly for her.
Usually i tell her to just read my messages and not respond, since thats free, although she occasionally responds. that way i send her a message like, good morning wake up sleepy head, Hope your day is going good hon, etc etc
It makes her day even when she does not respond to my messages, and i can put hearts on the messages, etc, and you cant beat being able to send ur gf a message directly to her cell for free.
Dont know how many of you guys know about chikka i just found out about it my last trip but it sure as heck beats sms messaging websites and icq s.u.c.k.s.
