I will be asking for more advice as i time rolls on.I hope to rely on the groups experience to meet new people form other cultures. Hi Tim,

I don't know anything about Qeuba City, but it would be nice to go when they are having their fiesta. Good Luck!

Hi Tim,

where the heck is "Qeuba City"? I've never heard of that one.

Any time of the year is best. Transportation and lodging are sometimes difficult and more expensive around mid-December to mid-January and during Holy Week (week before Easter). During local fiestas is fun but sometimes overcrowded.

There are two seasons in the Philippines: the hot-dry season and the hot-rainy season. Take your pick if you are more concerned about the weather.

Generally, the rainy (monsoon) season runs from Jun-Sep. Jan-Apr is driest and Mar-May the hottest. Regardless of the time of year, it’s always hot and humid, more so down south.

If you’re going to Cebu City, the big fiesta is around mid-January.

If you have serious alergies, you "may" have problems, especially around the larger cities. The air quality in the Metro Manila area can be pretty nasty and Cebu isn't a whole lot better.
