Like you, I cashed in some of my FF miles.

Got Seattle/manila flight for $360 + 20,000 ff miles.

Amtrack to Seattle r/t $84

R/T Manila/Cebu $100

Spending 3 days in dumaguette working with habitat for humanity, they supply meals, accomodations, etc.

Leaves $450 for accomodations, entertainment, etc.

Will be staying in pensionne house most of the remainder.

No prob.

Why was you ignored? #6 was treating you great, then instead of treating you better around her friends, they ignored you..Why??? I admire You for wandering around RP on your own. I rather have someone watching my back.

Hi Greg,
 That is a good question that I never did get an answer to.
Most Filipinos are so hospitable that I was very surprised at how her and her friends treated me.  Maybe I did something to offend, I really don't know.
Anyway, I do love to travel, and this was my fifth trip to the PI, so I almost always feel very comfortable.
Actually, I feel much safer in the Philippines than I do in many parts of the U.S.
