I called my congresswoman to complain about how lone the INS is taking to process my I129F. The INS received it 3-21-02 so it's been almost six months now and no word.
My congresswoman's office called and all they would tell her is that it is undergoing a security check.
I'll called today and after 5 hr. of busy signals I got through. I demanded some kind of action ASAP! The lady was nice and more informative than the others I had talked to. She told me the file had been sent over for the security check on Aug 9th. I asked her what this check involved and she said its done electronically. So they just enter the name into the system to see if their name is on the list of terrorist? If that's it how the he11 long could that take I asked? "Well ummm ummm it shouldn't take this long sir I'll call over there and see whets taking so long and tell them to hurry up and finish it"
I told her if I don't hear something in 30 days I'll be complaining to the president and everyone else I can think of including the local and national news.
