... from my nephew's wedding in Hawaii. It was tons of fun. Four generations of my wife's family were there from 18 months to 80 years old. We had a great time all together. On every tour we went, the bus drivers would tell me, "I think you're on the wrong bus. This one is Japanese speaking only." To which I'd reply, (in Japanese) "But this is all my family - can't you see the family resemblence?" To which they'd hurredly and profusely apologize with much bowing while my wife's famiy cracked up in laughter. I can't believe how Japanese Honalulu has become in the 20 years or so since I was there last. It must be 80% or more. If any of you guys are interested, I struck up more conversations young, single, and friendly Japanese girls walking around Waikiki than I ever did in Japan
Anyway, the board seems to have gone a bit nutty while I was gone. Stephen's comment about there being more fighting than a Baptist church was hilarious - I guess being a lawyer represents a step down in arguing from being a Baptist minister! LOL. I hope everyone here takes a deep breath, relaxes and doesn't take this all so seriously. I don't know about anyone else, but I've come to think of the regulars here as friends and, like any group of people, each has their own separate personality. It's rare to see any meanness here except for the few passing trolls who usually get driven out quickly. Sure there's sometimes some show of temper and maybe hormones, but hey, that's real life too.
Anyway, I've received several notices to remove certain pictures from the Asian Sweetie web site and I will comply. Hopefully I'll get a chance this weekend. There's a couple of new additions, too, one, in particular you old timers will really enjoy, but I'll leave that as a surprise. I'll also post a picture or two of my nephew and his new bride for all to see.
