Yes, I agree, but don't forget the sunscreen - the thighs and forearms can get really burnt before you get around the island.  I paid P400/day for a Yamaha 125 with a bald back tire and got a flat - bummer! - but the locals were all over me in no time and had it fixed in 45 minutes.
