I called the NSC today

They said sense sept 11 all application are going through extra security checks and ours has been sent there. She said to call back in two weeks and check again.

BTW I got through on my third try calling and spoke to someone right away.

...only they'd use the "extra security checks" where they're really needed! It will happen...just going to take a bit longer. Probably about the same as for those of us who went through the TSC during the past few years. Good Luck Hum!

Hi Dave,

..another place.  Looking back, the VSC in November '98 was ridiculously fast.  I just pulled out the old papers:  petition mailed Nov 9, Receipt Notice dated Nov 17 and the Approval Notice Nov 20.  It was almost TOO fast! :-O

Sallie finely got her Birth cert but it's not on NSO paper!!!! #$%&!@%!!!! She is on her way now to get her passport.
