I have a photo of myself and 3 lovely ladies taken at the Almont Hotel. One of them looks an awful lot like the lovely and gracious Sally. Strange, somewhow I looked so much thinner then. ;o)))

(No Kevin, this is not another fart story :-) )

These topics reminded me of an incident at the Butuan terminal when I was waiting for a bus to Surigao. I heard this god-awful screaming that sounded like a small kid was being murdered or something. Nobody else seemed to be concerned but I just had to walk around a bus and see what the heck was going on. There was a jeepney with a HUGE pig hog-tied and hanging upside-down on the back near the door. The poor pig was screaming at the top of it’s lungs and it sounded almost human. The first thing I thought of was “what would the PETA people say if they saw this”? They would probably crap themselves and have a heart attack right there on the spot.

It was pretty funny but I must admit that I felt a twinge of sympathy for that poor pig. That must have been interesting riding in that jeep and hearing that pig go berserk every time they hit a pot hole…  (OUCH!)

Dave H. brought up an interesting point also. Now I’ll always remember to check for splinters when eating lechon. Thanks Dave! (ROFL)
