its my first year anniversary of my arrival

Time flies when your having fun.It's my first year anniversary of my arrival in U.S.A today July 13th.I still recall hubby and I fly for U.S.A July last year and its  friday the 13th and we arrived here in U.S same day friday the 13th.Guess what we have big celebration here today.We celebrate American Filipino Friendship day.Somebody call us yesterday a filipina  she invite us to join the party.They live here in rural Illinois and it happen that she invite hubby's cousin who work in Hillboro newspaper and she tell the filipina organizer why not invite us or my hubby.They never know I'm here already never know iether hubby married filipina.All I thought before is that I'm the only filipina living in this area but I was wrong I met some of them today .I met my filipina nieghbor too.Too small world.
I really enjoy the celebration you can't immagine how many food there was in the table all filipino food.And they even have lechon(roast pig)I know it's not Arnold I make a thorough check on the pig.Big lechon then we have picture taken for the newspaper and I enjoy singing on videoke or kareoke.I tell everybody in philippines that I celebrate my first year anniversary here with big lechon. Tomorrow is our Big day.

Glad you found some Filipinas in your area.  We've found a few in our neck of the woods too, all married to Americans so they're very friendly.
