“Two wonderful kids and Jay”? ROTFLMAO! Sorry Jay! That was a good one Matt.

No vacation plans yet. Maybe next year. Hey, those traditional Filipino weddings are a blast! I guess you must have been to a few. My then fiancée had me watch a “training video” before the wedding, so I would know exactly what to do. It was a copy of the wedding video from her niece’s wedding in the same church and same reception venue a few months before ours. The poor groom in the video was sweating profusely and kept screwing things up during the ceremony. She kept telling me “no, don’t do what he just did there” while she reversed the tape and replayed the scene. I was laughing so hard I almost puked!

The one thing they forgot to warn me about was the doves. When you pull the cord to release the doves, get the hell out of the way fast. One of the d@mn birds crapped on my barong on the way out of the cage. Also, I had forgotten that a whole horde of little kids would come stampeding out at that very moment because the thing was also full of candy and coins and stuff. I guess I should have paid closer attention to the training film. I hope those little boogers had bird doo all over their candy (LOL).

I had a great time and I’m sure you’ll enjoy your wedding too. Say hi to the Mrs…

Hey Ray,

Did that “training video” include the wedding night?
“No, don’t do what he just did there.” Shocked)))

If you have read Hums posts over the years it it hard to dismiss his traveles like you did.One thing about the guy is he has traveled alot there in ways most people have not if they could avoid it.He has gotten closer to the culture in the RP more than 99.00% of Mag Anakers.Regardless,if they lived there.Trust me, I lived there. It is pretty rare to meet another American, especially an older Kano, walking along a provincial road waiting for a bus.Mag is mostly older guys who swooped in and swooped out.Their age also is why the "age thing" is such a no no over there.

That made my day! You are so right about the swoop in swoop out thing.

I fell in love with the Philippines and the culture long before I fell in love with a filipina.

Ok Terry which category do you fit into? LOL I have never said just because someone met his wife In AC she is a hooker. Slam big age diffrences? Yep I think it's wrong for some 70 year old to marry a 17 year old filipina but your right it's just my opinion, if you don't like it I don't care. I come across as an expert after making a few trips in one general area? I have made 10 trips in 9 years to the philippines six of those trips where for more than four months each where I traveled from Sagada (north Luzon) to the southern Philippines by boat, bus, jeepney, ect. I never clamed to be an expert but I do think I know more than your avrage "Joe" who went over for a week and married a filipina. So several other member of maganak have lived there for years? Where? at Clark or subic? Are you talking about one of the ex modaraters who at age 60 started prepping a 8 year old for his wife ? When she reached 18 he married her brought her to the states she didn't even last six months. I think he lives near Cebu now. Or maybe your thinking of George  the moderater at Mag who has never even been to the Philippines once!

As far as being abrasive you should take you own advice!
Now go back to the List serv and snivel to the D.O.M's

Gee was that to abrasive for you? ROTFLMAO

Hi Humabdos,
that was a good one *LOL*. Yeah, you are right though that guy shouldn't say like that since He's married to Filipina himself and have a half Filipino kid. I don't have nothing bad to say against Mag-Anak because I'm not a member of their mailing list group. I only post/read once in a while at their Web Forum because I made a lot of friends there for the past years. Actually, I have known you, Greg, Ray, and other posters through that Web Forum but now I'm busy with our own FilipinaWives Club Wink www.filipinawivesclub.org
