Hello,
I got married on June 22nd. There isn't a whole lot of Vietnamese info on this board, so if anyone wants to email me, feel free. I've gotten a few emails from people saying they don't feel comfortable posting messages on this board. Last time I posted here someone tried to email bomb me (but it all just went to the spam folder and got deleted automatically. No biggie.), so I understand what you mean. Hey, geeks will be geeks, I'm sure everybody on theis BB isn't like that.
I've found a discussion group for marriage based Visas, if anyone is serious about it. Go to google.com or get it through your ISP if the carry it.

While this BB at planet-love has info, you have to wade through a zillion posts to find a response to your question. Besides, it never hurts to have a second source.
I've also found a page with Vietnamese K-1 timeline and info.

Complaining lurkers?  E-mail bombs?  Hmmmm?  I wonder why I never get any similar stuff?  I mean I will admit that I am outspoken and upfront about my feelings and attitudes but I feel that this bulletin board/forum is the place for it - in public and face-to-face you have to be more diplomatic.  A forum is where you should be able to say what you feel.  And I will admit many of my ideas and opinions have been strengthened, changed and/or softened because of discussions held here.  It saddens me that people criticize but refuse to openly discuss - set in our ways, we are.  So many people take discussion as a personal afront but it really nothing more than one person explaining his truth from his experiences which to another persons experiences might make that same truth go in the completely opposite direction.  Its the added experiences and perceptions I relish because it helps me understand better and make better decisions.  I've seen some guys here make some real boners that I would have done 10x worse if I hadn't seen them do it here first.

As for your marriage - WOW!!  Awesome dude.  I know my life has been wonderful since I met my loving wife.  With the exceptions of a few tampos I would not trade a moment of knowing her - just to look at her is a treasure beyond price to me.  I pray that your experience is no less awesome for you.

The "alt..." group is known by many - first brought to us by Tim I beleive.  Heck he might have even stated the thing.

I'm with Dave H, Vietnamese women can be absolutely stunning. I live close to Little Saigon in Southern California and often go there to eat and people watch (shhhh don't tell my wife!) I also love the cuisine.

Hi Dave,

Stick around, I believe we are up two 3 regular posters (and growing fast) with sweeties from Vietnam. One of my good friends married his Vietnamese sweetheart during the war and has two wonderful, grown children.

There is something about women dressed in an ao dai...hmmm, I wonder if Lori has added it to her wardrobe. ;o))

... there are several, uhhh... should I say "alternative" people there who love that kind of thing and will let you know it in broad daylight! If you prefer to wear a loincloth there, make sure it is made of something like titanium, platinum, or at least .25 inch steel...

I'm really sorry to hear about people sending you a virus through the email.  That's really low.

Are you sure that it's because of this board?  I've been here several years and I haven't had any problems.  (Oh...a couple of years back I had some crazy guy from the Latin board send me stuff, but he got banned from there.  I think his name was HOUNDOG....a fitting name for the unsavory dog.)

I wish you'd stick around here and post.  We're basically Philippine on this board.  We could use some information about VN.
