Hello Everyone,
I recently received a computer virus(klez worm)in my e-mail from a gerlieh@hotmail.com.Since I have only seen that spelling used with filipinos called I thought I would give some links to computer security sites.Klez will take,to and from, addresses out of someones infected computer. The first link is to see if you have a virus.

http://housecall.antivirus.com/

If you have one this link is a list of viruses and pages on how to remove.

http://www.europe.f-secure.com/v-descs/a.shtml

Once you have removed your virus here is a free anti-virus program.Just remember to update it :-)

http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_index.htm

Here is a free firewall this makes your computer invisible. So hackers trolling cannot see your computer. Also lets you control what accesses your computer and what accesses the net from your computer.

This last link is to a computer security site a couple of neat tests and stories on trojans and bots(hacker tools)also a security newgroup.

http://grc.com/intro.htm

That should do it if you are into tracing isp numbers and reporting I have a link to port access priorities. These tell you what ports on your computer are used for what also which ones are most likely to be used by hackers.I hope this helps someone.

Hey Equitis,

Was that the email that was titled something like "Hi Baby"? I deleted it right away, even before I virus scanned it. One woman is enough for me...especially one Filipina. LOL It was probably sent out by one of the Gabriela Networks's agents.
