Newbie Help, Please.

Hi Everybody,

I'm looking for a good web site for finding asian women
where you can correspond with them via e-mail. I know
that their are scam sites out there, so if somebody here
could point me in the right direction to a couple of good
sites where I may find real asian women, I'd appreciate it.

I'm new to this, but interested in checking it out.

I HIGHLY recommend going to americansingles.com and write to as many ladies as you like.  Don't let the name of the website fool you.  You can write to ladies in many countries including the Philippines.  I agree with the poster regarding the too young ladies being insincere.  Also, with a number of those sites that sell addresses - you can bet that a number of the women on those sites are not interested in marriage and some of the more gorgeous ones are paid just to have their picture on there.  They won't respond and aren't interested.  Stay away from some of the less reputable sites (like brazilgirls.com) if you decide to venture into trying the other countries' offerings.  Waste of time and money (take my word for it)

I met my wife thru oneandonly.com  It's all done by e-mail, they don't sell addresses. you can do a search based on location, age, occupation etc., etc. You can view profiles for free, but must be a member to respond. I paid about $20 a month and there's no response limit, you can write to as many as you can handle. Haven't been there in a long time, so don't kow of any changes.

american men's experiences with this type of thing?

  Welcome to P-L.Yes I know of a website that tells about guys experiences with penpals,tripreports(visiting the countries of their ladies),and visa processes.Also has great people willing to answer questions you may have.
Right here JJ :-).Check out the archives.They are worth every minute I spent reading them.Enjoy.

Hi JJ,

For starters, you can click on “Asian” at the left of your screen and get a list of agencies that provide addresses of ladies. I can’t personally recommend any in particular. Some provide e-mail addresses and some don’t.

You didn’t say which country you were interested in, but I can give you some things to think about if you’re looking towards the Philippines. Even though e-mail addresses aren’t provided in the ads, most ladies will have access to e-mail through Internet cafés. There are advantages to making initial contacts through traditional snail mail. You’ll find that most ladies like to write and receive letters, cards, and photos in the mail. I think it’s much more personal than e-mail anyway and I can learn a lot about someone from hand written letters. So don’t worry about e-mail addresses at first, just write and include your own e-mail address in the first letter. You’ll most likely get an e-mail reply anyway or at least the lady’s e-mail addy if she writes back.

It would be wise to assume that your correspondence will not be kept confidential. Whether it’s e-mail or snail mail, count on your letters being shared openly with her friends and family. From what I’ve seen in the Internet cafes over there, you never know who is on the other end when you’re chatting with or e-mailing someone on-line. It’s very typical to see a group of young high school girls all huddled around the computer giggling and carrying on while they take turns typing messages to someone. There is no privacy!

A lot of those girls use the Internet primarily for entertainment purposes. They get a big kick out of playing games with guys on-line and you never really know who is on the other end, or if it’s even a female. Be especially aware during the afternoon hours after school lets out in the Philippines because that’s when most of the giggling girls hit the Internet joints.

When you look through the agency ads, don’t let the photos become the primary factor that determines which ones you write to. Be careful of the drop-dead-gorgeous chicks with the glamour photos. I recommend going for the “uglier” ones or the “fuzzy” photos if you’re interested in finding a lifelong partner. Remember that the hotter they look, the more guys will be writing to them. Also, some of those fuzzy-photo girls will look much better in person, so don’t discount them from the start. If you’re primary criteria is looks alone, then you can ignore everything I just said (LOL).

If you do hook up with someone who you are really interested in, don’t wait too long to plan a trip to visit her. Six months is probably a good timeframe to be thinking of. If they have access to a phone, ask for their number and call them early on. Collect calls from them to you can cost you an arm and a leg, so always try to phone them if possible.

Don’t ever send any money or even mention the subject. If they bring up the subject of money or start telling you about their financial problems, quietly drop them and move on to another!!!

Don’t pin all of your hopes on one lady. Write to many women at first and then narrow the list down.

Don’t send a photo at first and don’t ask for one right away. It’s my opinion that you can get to know a lot more about someone’s character if you aren’t distracted by a picture to begin with. But like I said, that’s just my opinion.

Hi newbie, if you want you can go to mirc.com
download mirc,
then log into an undernet server, any one will do,
and then look for rooms like #cebu. #manila,#iloilo,
#filipino,
and you can talk privately with many different pinays
in the philippines.
Sometimes they dont believe you are in the usa, lol,
but it sure is fun and u meet a lot of girls that way
and it beats email,
they are usually in a internet cafe typing to you,
some are young, some are older, but its a great way to chat live, for free.

I met the coolest girl in the WORLD on cherryblossoms.com.  There are nice people there and it's very easy to use.  The chatroom is way better than just emailing.
