Jimbo and Sally and the famous Rhode Island Ripper.
I hope to have some pictures posted on the web, when I return

I know the feeling. Last year I attended my daughter's college graduation.

There's an old joke about a priest and a minister arguing about when life begins. The priest insists it's at the instant of conception and the minister insists it's when the baby's able to live on its own. A passing rabbi overhears the argument and comes over to help sort things out. After listening for a while he interrupts with: "You guys have it all wrong. Life begins when the last kid leaves home and the dog dies!"

Happy empty nesting!

Love peace and harmony?  And your SON is graduating from high school?  Hey maybe turn up the latest brittany spearhead or something like that... (heck that's what I'd be doing if he hadn't destroyed my insurance policy in the previous 2 yrs!)

lol...

Cheers and best wishes to you!

Hey Joemc,

Congratulations especially to your son!

The best defense against the Rhode Island Ripper, is a good offense. I suggest you and Jim form a good strategy. Eat plenty of Boston Baked Beans and if possible to find, throw down a couple of balut, chased with a few beers.

Speaking of beer, San Miguel is now sold at the local Hispanic grocery chain. It is on sale for $9.89 per 12 pack. There is a big sign that says "Imported." My wife seemed quite proud...I don't think she will ever look at Colt 45 "Imported" beer the same way again. Now if we can only get them to carry the little Philippine flags at the check-out counters. ;o))

Dave

Are  you  thinking  of  this line of best defense  like  the  idea  of  canceling out  noise  pollution with  anti  noise  of  the  same negative frequency  to  cancel  out  the  positive  noise  value.

If  you  want to  fight  fire  with  fire  as they  will  need  to ---  you  should  have  directed  them  to go  to  chinatown (the  Combat Zone) in  Boston  to  load  up  on  the  holy  trinity  in  asian  cuisine  G. G. S. (Ginger  Garlic  Scallion)  soy sauce  doesn't  hurt  either.

I  am  glad I 'll  be  in  vegas  when  they all  get  together  ha ha ha

It's good that San Miguel beer is again available in the northeast (first time since around 1993).  A Massachusetts imported distributes it.  In Cranston, Rhode Island, People's Liquor Warehouse stocks it.  Last month, I found some in Killingly, Connecticut at an A&P liquor mart.
