I think that I have pretty neat handwriting--even when writing in cursive.  I honestly don't think that there's anyone around here who wouldn't be able to easily read my handwriting.  That said, would it be safe for me to write women in cursive?

Thanks,
NateD

You haven't said where she's from. Ray's comments are about Filipinas and Jody's about a Chinese girl. I'd say of she's a Filipina, cursive would be fine, if Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai or other language using prmarily pictigrams or variationa on Kanji, it probably isn't a good idea. Since Vietnamese use a western style alphabet, i's probably not a problem using script for letters there.

Just use whatever style you feel comfortable with.

The typical Filipina who is conversant in English should have no problem understanding cursive writing if it's halfway neat. I always write in cursive and it works just fine for me.

from the philippines write block style.

So I second the below comment.  I'd say, don't change your current style because the way you normally write now is really who you are.

All of the letters I have written to my sweetie have been in block and received ones from her in block also.

In my opinion, it would be better to retain block style due to the many various markings and letters of the chinese alphabet, it could easily be confusing and hard for her to read even as impeccible as yours may be, chances are that she is not even used to the flow of cursive writing.
